Here's something you may not know: the second-to-last thing of anything is always "nine." For example, the second-to-last stair is number nine. And the second-to-last slice of banana. And the second-to-last block in a stack of blocks. If you must know why, it's because the last thing of anything is...wait for it..."TEN!" And of course the number ten is always worth a cheer and a hearty round of applause. So, without fail several times a day I get to exclaim, "nine...TEN!! Yeah!!!!!"

What a wonderful, perfect world we live in. Don't you agree?
