one more thing...

This is the "present" I made for Mom just now while she typed up our blog. I'd like to point out the ribbon constructed from the remains of a sheet of stickers and the very special spider bow.

a very merry christmas (home version)

We hope you're having a great holiday. Aside from a couple of runny noses and scratchy throats, we sure are. Here we are building our very first gingerbread house. It ended up looking just like the one on the box, only droopier. Thanks Aunt Marjorie and Uncle Stephan!

We could hardly believe it Christmas morning when Mom and Dad told us we could start opening presents. We thought this day would never come.

We definitely got all the best gifts, although we understand Mom and Dad were quite happy with theirs too. A big thank you to Grandma Lipsey and Aunt KT!

Peanut butter and jelly. Milk and cookies. Legos and excavators.

Daddy demonstrated his natural talent for picking out gifts with these hand-crank flashlights. Simply brilliant.

And looking fresh as a daisy, Mom demonstrated her appreciation for the natural gift-making talents of her sons. One can never have too many sparkly candle holders, right?

This present from Grandma Lipsey combines two of our favorite things: cars and crashing cars. Love love love it! We missed you and Aunt KT and asked several times where you were.

We also enjoyed Christmas dinner at Aunt Marjorie and Uncle Stephan's, but forgot to take pictures. Thank you for the yummy food (cake) and the awesome cars!!

More to come soon...

season's greetings

Sorry we've been remiss in posting. We've been very very busy not touching the ornaments on the tree, not rearranging the ornaments on the tree, not touching the presents underneath, not rearranging the presents underneath, etc. etc. We hope you're having a wonderful holiday season.

snow is our favorite and our best

We absolutely cannot understand why anyone would dread winter. Snow is pretty much the coolest substance known to man. Except for chocolate milk.
